Originally from South Africa, I moved to Canada with my family and experienced firsthand the challenges that come with building a life in a new country. Adjusting to a different culture, finding a sense of community, and creating a place to call home has shaped who I am today.
As a mother of two, family is at the centre of everything I do. Having lived on Canada's East Coast before settling in Okotoks, Alberta, I understand the uncertainty, excitement, and perseverance that often accompany major life changes. My experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the importance of home, connection, and belonging. Through every stage of our journey, I've come to value the friendships, opportunities, and community that have made Canada feel like home. Today, I am proud to call Okotoks home and grateful for the life my family and I have built here.
