Matt spent his pre-real estate career in agriculture, business management and marketing helping businesses and people develop strategies to be successful. In addition to being a REALTOR® Matt holds the designation of Certified Analytics and Insights professional and Relocation Specialist. Matt’s passion is in the details helping clients navigate the process of buying and selling a home. From marketing to contracts Matt will make sure the details are taken care of. Matt is also heavily involved in the industry volunteering on the Board of Directors for the 

Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®) and holding the position of Chair-Elect as of 2025. Matt has chaired and acted as a liaison for a number of committees and task forces including Governance, Practice Governance, Risk Governance, Director Development, and was a member of CREA®'s Audit Committee. Matt is always looking for ways to elevate the industry and increase professionalism among industry members. Matt is an Assistant Manager and FINTRAC Compliance Officer with CIR Realty, helping agents navigate questions and providing practice advice to agents throughout our 900+ person brokerage.
