Carlin was born and raised in Regina Saskatchewan. He graduated from Ambrose University College with a Bachelor of Religious Education. He moved to Alberta in 1996 and worked as a youth pastor in Sylvan Lake and Calgary. In 2003, Carlin moved into the Oil and Gas Industry as a Surface Landman where he started negotiating contracts and agreements throughout Alberta on behalf of various Oil and Gas Companies. In 2008 work took Carlin back home to Regina where he met his wife Stacey. Carlin and Stacey had their first child in December 2009. Wanting to return to Alberta, Carlin left the Oil and Gas Industry to join the CIR Realty. Carlin believes what makes his Real Estate business successful, Integrity and the Quality of Service he provides to his clients.
